About John Robbins
In 1977 after working in Soho, London, I went to work in the Caribbean where I met my future wife in St Vincent. We got married in Lesotho in Southern Africa during the Aparthied regime of South Africa and had 2 children a boy and girl. Moving to Swaziland in 1984 we had another child a boy. In 1990 my wife and children relocated to the UK so that the children could receive secondary education as the alternative was to send them to South Africa which was unacceptable for a British West Indian mixed race family. Since this time I have been traveling around the world working in various countries.
I have been in the Entertainment & Leisure industry for 40 years, working in hotel casino resorts, bars & restaurants, airline, travel agency, radio station, in the UK, Caribbean, Lesotho & Swaziland in Southern Africa, Turkey, Tanzania, Ghana. Working with diverse groups of people from different racial, religious, political and cultural beliefs including G.L.B.
Relationships in the Entertainment & Leisure Industry are difficult to maintain as the working hours are unsocial and many breakdown.

Two amazing words from the African tradition.
Sawabona and Sikhona.“ SAWABONA ” is a common greeting among the tribes of northern Natal in South Africa and it literally means “I SEE YOU” As to say, “ I RESPECT AND ACKNOWLEDGE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE ” In return people say “ SIKHONA " which literally means “ I AM HERE ” as to say “ WHEN YOU SEE ME YOU BRING ME INTO EXISTENCE ”.
"Me, only have one ambition, y’know? I only have one thing I really like to see happen. I like to see mankind live together – black, white, Chinese, everyone – that’s all. "
- Bob Marley
“Being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you.” - Bob Marley
